Leo Fender believed in hard work, and if you were lazy then it was considered a sin by his standards. He lived up to the standards himself, and built one of the biggest guitar companies in the world, which later sold to CBS for $13 million. Notably one of the most historically important guitars was the Fender Broadcaster, which commercialized the solidbody style.
